William C. "Bump" Crowell, 79, of Patton, passed away peacefully at home Saturday, May 7, 2022.
Surviving are his wife, Gloria (Baranik); children: William G. Crowell (Cindy Polites), Debbie Crowell-Smith, Lori Crowell (Mark Jenkins) and Matthew C. Crowell (Connie Riva). He also leaves behind seven grandchildren: Matthew R. Crowell, Jess Crowell, Devon Crowell, Chrissy Crowell, Emily Crowell, Jarod Crowell and Connor Smith; four great-grandchildren: Kai Crenshaw, Annora Crowell, Mila Crenshaw and Tony Crowell.
Bill spent most of his career teaching young minds at Cambria Heights High School. He also coached football at the varsity level and served as Athletic Director.
He enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing and woodworking. Bill especially looked forward to the yearly trips to the family's two cottages on Papineau Lake in Canada, where he made some of his most cherished memories.
There will be no public viewing and the service will be private.
