Kenneth Scott ‘Ken’ Barefoot Jr.

Kenneth Scott “Ken” Barefoot Jr., 64, of East Freedom, died unexpectedly at his residence on Tuesday. He was born in Roaring Spring, son of the late Kenneth Scott Barefoot Sr. and Jennie (Garyga) Barefoot.
Surviving are three sisters: Diane Burak and her husband, Peter, of Wisconsin; Sandra Bump and her husband, Carl, of Florida; and Mary Lou Bowers of Roaring Spring.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Peter Paul Barefoot; and an infant sister, Georgia.
Kenneth was a graduate of Central High School and Clarion University. He was employed as a licensed practical nurse at The Village at Morrisons Cove.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Kenneth was a member of the Jaffa Shrine, the Portage Lodge and the East Freedom Volunteer Fire Department.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Inurnment will be made at Greenlawn Cemetery.
