Ronald Patrick Blazier
July 30, 1971 – Dec. 4, 2021

Ronald Patrick Blazier, 50, of Bellwood, died unexpectedly Saturday at his home. He was born in Altoona, son of Barbara A. (McClellan) Kleinfelter and the late Ronald E. Blazier.
He is survived by three sons: Ronald Jr. of Tyrone, and Andrew and Alex, both at home; his mother, Barbara (Mark) Kleinfelter of Bellwood; and two brothers, Mark and Josh Kleinfelter, both of Bellwood.
Ronald was a 1989 graduate of Bellwood Antis High School. He was a former professional baseball pitcher, who played for the Philadelphia Phillies and Baltimore Orioles, spanning over 10 years. In 2008, he was elected to the Blair County Sports Hall of Fame.
He was currently employed as a forklift operator at PGW Industries, Tipton.
He was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles, Bellwood.
An avid baseball and sports fan, he also enjoyed throwing darts, shooting pool, hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed playing softball on a local team.
Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2021, at Jon C. Russin Funeral Home Inc., Bellwood. A funeral service will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with Pastor Randy Zitterbart officiating. Interment will be at Antis Cemetery, Antis Township.
The family suggests that contributions in Ron’s memory be made to Bellwood-Antis Youth Baseball.
