Eric M. Baker

Eric M. Baker, 25, of Loretto, died Tuesday. He was born in Altoona, son of Stephanie Baker-Stirk. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; Joe and Rose (Storm) McConnell and Francis Baker.
Surviving are his mother and stepfather, Stephanie Baker-Stirk and Erik Stirk; sister, Maya Baker; maternal grandparents, Bob and Mary Ann (McConnell) Baker and maternal great grandmother, Mary Jane Baker. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Eric was a 2018 graduate of Saint Francis University, Loretto, and worked for Servpro, Ebensburg. He enjoyed the outdoors.
He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion, Loretto, and the Basilica of St. Michael the Archangel, Loretto, where a funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 13, 2021, with the Very Rev. John D. Byrnes, celebrant. Committal will be at St. Michael Cemetery, Loretto. Friends will be received from 9 to 9:45 a.m. at the Basilica of St. Michael.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to St. Michael’s School in Eric’s memory.
