Sister Madeleine C. Bernard, 88, Little Sisters of Jesus, Baltimore, Md., formerly of Gallitzin, died Thursday, Oct. 28, 2021. She was born in Estaires, France, daughter of the late Paul and Marie Louise (Wattez) Bernard. Surviving are three brothers, Jules, Pierre and Jean-Marc; two sisters, Andree and Jeanne; and all the Little Sisters of Jesus. She was preceded in death by a brother, Paul; sister, Cecile; and infant sister, Paule Marie. Funeral arrangements are incomplete. Arrangements will be posted at a later date. Arrangements are by Gibbons Funeral Home, 301 Church St., Gallitzin.
