Cassandra L. ‘Cassie’ Jones-Thompson

Cassandra L. “Cassie” Jones-Thompson, 33, Livingston, Texas, formerly of Altoona, died tragically Tuesday from the result of a motor vehicle accident in Indiana County. She was born in Homestead, Fla., daughter of James Jones and Beth (Miller) Brown.
Cassie was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Corrinne Miller.
Surviving are her parents; husband, James Thompson; five children: Chase and Mason Benjamin, Larkin and Maximus Jones-Thompson and Adley Thompson; four siblings: Caleb (Danielle) Jones, Jacob, Erin and Noah Brown; aunts, Paula Muyleart and Robin Butcher; stepfather, William Brown; best friend, Felicia Brumm; and numerous cousins.
Cassie was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church, Altoona.
She worked as a CNA with Scenery Hill Healthcare and Rehab Center, Indiana. She enjoyed traveling, going to the beach, hiking, biking, sewing, remodeling, Pinteresting and playing board games with her children. In her spare time, she played the video games “Animal Crossing” and “Stardew Valley.”
Cassie worked out at the Pure Barre studio and was one of the fastest to reach the 100-class mark. She collected anything to do with foxes, as it was her favorite animal. Most importantly, she cherished her children and would do anything for them.
Friends and family will be received from 2 until the 6 p.m. service Monday, Oct. 25, 2021, at Anderson Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 233 Keystone Ave., Cresson, Pastor Drew McCaffery, officiant.
