Beverly Ann (Parks) Curfman

July 6, 1940 – Aug. 10, 2021


Beverly Ann (Parks) Curfman, 81, of Hollidaysburg, passed away Tuesday at her residence after an extended illness. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late W. Clair and Verna B. (Wonders) Parks. She married Harry L. Curfman on Aug. 27, 1960, and he preceded her in death after 53 years of marriage.

Surviving are four children: Jeffrey A. and wife, Donna, of Altoona, Michael L. in West Virginia, Leann C. of Altoona and Lori A. Aultz of Lewistown; two sisters: Madilyn Hanley and Marilyn Wilt; grandchildren: Kristopher, Haley, Tyler, Nichole, Emily, Hannah, Joshua, Allison and Jonas; six great-grandchildren, and one on the way.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy Smith and Jean Soyke; a brother, Ralph Parks; and a son-in-law, Harry Aultz.

Beverly retired from Hileman’s Tax Office. She was a member of the Altoona (Curve) aceous Cuties Chapter of the Red Hat Society and was also a lifetime blood donor.

Beverly considered her neighbors as a second family and they were an important part of her life. She especially loved spending time with her family and teaching her dog, Rosie, tricks.

Friends will be received from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 21, 2021, at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a memorial service will immediately follow at 3 p.m. with Pastor Kathy Colebank officiating.

Interment at Alto-Reste Park, at the convenience of the family.
