Victoria G. “Vickie” (McMillen Trotter) Albright of Tyrone passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday. She was born in Millbrook, Ohio, daughter of the late Elmer and Nora (Bentz) Weuthrick.

She was first married to Les McMillen, who preceded her in death in 1994, and later to Robert Trotter, who also preceded her in death.

On Aug. 28, 2003, Vickie married the love of her life, Daune D. Albright, who preceded her on Oct. 1, 2019.

She is survived by three children: Brenda Vaught, Debbie (Bill) Hoffman and Tim (Bonnie) McMillen; a stepson, Danny (Robin) Albright; five grandchildren: Traci (Josh) Krider, Tobias (Rhonda) Nagle, Christy (Jim) Gerwert, Matthew (Jalana) McMillen and Adam (Jenna) McMillen; nine great-grandchildren: Sage Krider, Kyle Schultz Krider, Madison Newstead Krider, Emily and Christian Nagle, Alexis, Samantha and Sidney Gerwert and Mac McMillen; and two sisters, June Fitch and Beverly Weuthrick. Vickie was preceded in death by two siblings, Violet Caber and Warren Weuthrick.

As a teenager, she regularly sang gospel music at WWST radio with her sister, Violet. They were called “The Singing Weuthricks.” After finishing beauty school, she owned and operated Victoria’s Beauty Salon for 23 years. Vickie also owned and operated a construction and excavating business. She returned to school to get her CNA license and served for over 10 years at the Hollidaysburg Veterans Home before retiring in 1987.

Vickie loved the Lord and attended Grace Baptist Church until illness kept her away. She enjoyed bowling, had a green thumb and was passionate about gardening and her flowers. She was an avid animal lover and all of God’s amazing creations. She enjoyed friends and conversation and truly loved life. She could talk to anyone and help brighten their day. Her favorite saying was, “The Lord gave me an abundance of smiles and I’d like to share one with you.” She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
