Lois M. Fraim

July 11, 1944 – March 26, 2021

Lois M. Fraim, 76, Bellwood, died late Friday evening at UPMC Altoona. She was born in Pittsburgh, daughter of the late Samuel R. and Laura (Yost) Cunningham.

She was the beloved wife of John W. "Jack" Fraim, celebrating 39 years of marriage prior to his death on Oct. 20, 2012.

Surviving are three daughters: Lois M. Rimmey and husband, Tim, and Kimberly A. Texter, both of Bellwood, and Samantha J. McPeak and husband, Bernie, of Gibsonia; seven grandchildren: James Rimmey and fiancee, Jane, Josh Rimmey and significant other, Geri, Matt Rimmey and wife, Kelley, Lauren Mobley, and Bernie, Sean and Alex McPeak; and two great-grandchildren, Jace and Kinsley Rimmey.

She was preceded in death by half sisters: Dorothy Reber, Barbara Gibson and Jane Clark.

Lois retired as a certified nursing assistant at various nursing facilities as well as home nursing care. She was a social member of Pittsburgh VFW. She enjoyed cooking, reading and doing crossword puzzles.

Growing up, she enjoyed many vacations at Cape May, N.J., and throughout her life continued to visit Cape May along with her family.

A memorial service to celebrate Lois' life will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, April 1, 2021, at Hillside Community Church, Bellwood, with Pastor John Poe officiating.

The family suggests that contributions in Lois' memory be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 (stjude.org).
