H. Romayne ‘Ro’ Wilt

She was born in Altoona, daughter of Samuel Edgar and Hazel Florine (St. Clair) Wike. On Feb. 9, 1957, she married Homer Ray Wilt in Altoona. He preceded her in death on June 12, 2011.

Surviving are four children: Glenda Ellis-Snyder and husband, Gary, of Altoona, Douglas Wilt and wife, Diane, of Roaring Spring, Melissa Brubaker and husband, Jeff, of Altoona and Shannan Kratzer of Altoona; ten grandchildren: Cory Ellis (Taylor), Cody Wilt (Heidi), Samantha Wilt, Jonathan Greene, Nichole Calandrelle (Justin), Justin Brubaker, Ashley Brubaker, Nicholas Kratzer (Tricia), Mitchell Snyder and Nicholas Snyder; ten great-grandchildren; and three siblings: Rod Wike, Paulette Bensamer and Christine Walters.

She was preceded in death by four siblings: Sam Wike, Bill Wike, Buck Wike and Rose Brennan.

Ro was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and she enjoyed sewing and baking, especially wedding cakes.

Friends will be received from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. funeral service Tuesday, March 23, 2021, Funeral Service at Trinity Lutheran Church, 408 N. Sixth St., Juniata, Pastor Elizabeth Hess officiating. Interment will be made at Blair Memorial Park, Antis Township. Arrangements are by Mauk & Yates Funeral Home Inc., Juniata.
