David ‘Dave’ Brooks

He was born in Altoona, son of the late Harry and Mollie (Stoop) Brooks; and brother to the late Sheldon Brooks. Dave is survived by his nephew: Jonathon; and nieces: Sherri, Cicely, Rebecca and Sarah.

Dave was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.

He was a dedicated member of the Agudath Achim Synagogue where he practiced his faith and remained a memorable part of the community.

Family and friends are welcome to attend an intimate graveside funeral service for Dave at Agudath Achim Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 2, 2019, Cantor Benjamin Matis officiating. Arrangements are by E. Merrill Smith Funeral Home Inc., 2309 Broad Ave., Altoona.
