Patricia Ann “Pat” “Patty” Yingling Lazear, 82, formerly of Blandburg, died Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2019, at Fountain Circle Health & Rehabilitation in Winchester, Ky. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Surviving are three daughters: Debora (Alan) Case, Sandra (Gary) Vander Vies and Jennifer (Bobby) Sargent; five grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 48 years, Frank Lazear; eight brothers: Oliver, Richard, Donald, Clair, Robert, Harold, Joseph and Gene; and one sister, Irene.
Pat raised her daughters and volunteered in her church and community for all her married life. She loved music, singing, drawing, writing and her volunteer work with hospice and literacy.
As per Patricia’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no public services. Private interment will take place with her family. Arrangements are by Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, Harrodsburg Road, Lexington, Ky.
In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association.
