Ida Dicken, 90, Claysburg, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday at home.
She was born in Ore Hill, daughter of the late Marshall A. and Cressa A. (Fleck) Dicken.
Surviving are two daughters: Helen M. Betar (James) and Grace L. Helsel (Arthur); two sons: Henry D. and Ray M. Roudabush, all of Claysburg; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a brother, Gerald "Punk" Dicken; and a sister-in-law, Jane Dicken.
She was preceded in death by a son, Arthur R. Walter Jr.; a grandson, Matthew Walter; a daughter-in-law, Donna Roudabush; three sisters: Ceiley Lewis, Rosella Keister and Pauline Loucks; and two brothers: David and the recently passed Cletus Dicken.
Ida retired from food service at Claysburg-Kimmel schools. She was a longtime member of Claysburg Bible Church, which she enjoyed attending. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and gardening.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 29, 2019, and from 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service Tuesday April 30, 2019, at Claysburg Bible Church, 11751 William Penn Road, Imler, with Pastor Keith Showalter officiating. Interment will be at Claysburg Union Cemetery. Arrangements are by Leslie-Miller Funeral Home, Claysburg.
