Richard A. Floyd, 74, Altoona, passed away Monday at UPMC Altoona.
He was born in Indiana, son of the late Richard H. and Genevieve (Coleman) Floyd.
Surviving are two sons: Richard H. Floyd of Fairmont, W.Va., and Gregory W. (Misty) Floyd of Altoona; two grandchildren: Tressa and Ethan Floyd; four step-grandchildren: Erica Streightiff, Debrah Verbonitz, Caitlyn Rhodes and Ryan Rhodes; a brother, Don Floyd of Zion; and a sister, Donna Grant of Irmo, S.C.
Richard was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, and he retired as a pharmacist for Rite Aid.
He was a member of Ward Avenue Presbyterian Church, Altoona. He was also a member of the Masons and the Shriners.
Richard enjoyed riding his motorcycle, driving his Corvette and collecting model trains.
A funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by The Stevens Mortuary Inc., 1421 Eighth Ave., Altoona.
