Michael D. ‘Mike’ Frank

He was born in Altoona, son of the late Francis Donald and Betty Pearl (Whatley) Frank.

Surviving are two sons: Dallas W. and Lucas M. and wife, Christy, all of Altoona; a grandson, Lincoln; three siblings: Pat of Erlanger, Ky., Theresa of Tampa, Fla., and Joe of Altoona; a niece, Jessica; and three nephews: Joseph, Dillen and Ian.

Mike was a U.S. Navy veteran.

He was a great man who enjoyed the simple things in life. He had a love for all things outdoors, and he especially loved to talk about his time in the Navy, telling stories of how he served his country.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Williamsburg.
