Janet M. Morgan, 75, Duncansville, passed away Sunday at home.
She was born in Claysburg, daughter of the late William Sr. and Harriet (Hartman) McCarty. She married Frederick Morgan Jr. on Aug. 13, 1997, in Winchester, Va. He preceded her in death on April 16, 2014.
Surviving are four daughters: Valarie Corle of Holliday, Fla., Melissa Cole (Joe) of Duncansville, Brenda Hartman (Dale) of Claysburg and Heather Malloy (Brenten) of Martinsburg; two stepchildren: Cheri Morgan (Doug) and Frederick Morgan, both of Sproul; 13 grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; a sister, Barbara Stratton of Hollidaysburg; and two brothers: William McCarty Jr. of Queen and Roy McCarty of Cleveland, Tenn.
Janet was a 1960 graduate of Greenfield-Kimmel High School. She attended Hollidaysburg Christian Missionary Alliance Church.
Janet was a homemaker who enjoyed playing games and spending time with her grandchildren.
Friends will be received from 4 to the 7 p.m. funeral service on Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2017, at Leslie-Miller Funeral Home, Claysburg, with Pastor Jon Gross officiating. Interment will be at Claysburg Union Cemetery.
