Sophia H. Gormish

Sophia H. Gormish, 90, Northern Cambria, died Tuesday. She was born in Bakerton, daughter of the late Andrew Jr. and Sophia (Naberezny) Gormish. Surviving are two nephews: Dr. Clay and Dr. Deron Gormish. She was preceded in death by two brothers: Andrew III and Frederick Gormish. At Sophia’s request, there will be no visitation. A divine liturgy will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 28, 2017, at St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church, Northern Cambria. Arrangements are by Stevens Funeral Home Inc., Carrolltown.
