William A. Quirin

He was born in Altoona, son of the late Albert and Anna (Bice) Quirin. He married Althea Simmers, and she died Nov. 19, 1988.

Surviving are a daughter, Deborah Conrad-Bais (Michal); three stepdaughters: Carol Shaw (Rick), Cindy Showalter (Dave) and Cheryl Astore (Bill); numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a sister, Sharon Price; and a brother, Richard.

He was preceded in death by a stepson, Rick McMullen; and two brothers: Joe and Kenneth.

William was a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran, serving as a tank commander. He had been employed for 20 years with Riverside, where he had been a manager and master baker. He was a member of the Hollidaysburg American Legion.

All services will be private with entombment at Alto-Reste Park Cemetery.
