Gwendolyn (Rhodes) Wareham, 86, The Village at Morrisons Cove, Martinsburg, formerly of rural New Enterprise, died Monday.
She was born along Piney Creek, rural Martinsburg, daughter of Sanford and Lucy (Smith) Rhodes. Surviving are her husband, Ronald Wareham; and a sister, Elsie Steward. She was preceded in death by six siblings: Herman and Elwood Rhodes, Beulah Hoover, Grace Edwards, Belva Detwiler and Pearl Brown. Friends will be received from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday and 9:30 until the 10:30 a.m. funeral service Friday, Jan. 9, 2015, at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg.
