Gerald E. “Gerry” McDaniels Jr., 71, Ashville, passed away peacefully on Nov. 16, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born in Pittsburgh, son of the late Gerald E. Sr. and Cecelia (Crossman) McDaniels. Gerry is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Geane (Bradley) McDaniels. Shirley J. (Stonerook) Guyer, 89, of Martinsburg, passed away Monday. She was born in Woodbury, daughter of the late Frank and Viola (Kephart) Stonerook. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jay; and a daughter, Julie Torrance. Surviving are her son, Jay Guyer; son-in-law, Rick Torrance; grandchildren: Heather Wensley, Dylan Lamborn and Jenna Aiken; great-grandchildren, Brooks and Lucas Wensley; and a nephew, Wayne Guyer.
