Shirley Jean “Cookie” O’Donnell, 84, of Flinton (Beaver Valley), died Wednesday. She was born in Beaver Valley, daughter of the late Robert and Beulah (Gates) Barnhart. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William; infant daughter, Brittany; siblings: William, Robert, Patricia Kendrick, Donna Westover and Joanne Hilmer. Elmer Gorden Little Jr., 80, Altoona, died Monday. He was born in Tyrone, son of the late Elmer G. and Rose (Stack) Little. On June 11, 1965, he married Edna LaRue Miller. Surviving are children: Misty Weyandt, Holly Burick and James Little; grandchildren: Paul Jr., Amanda, Casandra, Nickolas, Christopher and Ellie; eight great-grandchildren; and sisters, Mary Ann Miller and Debbie Leech.
