Mary Grace Conklin

Mary Grace Conklin, 78, of Altoona, passed away Wednesday. She was born in Clearfield, daughter of the late George and Erma (Moore) Kanouff. Mary was preceded in death by her son, James Kling; two sisters, Cora Butler and Belinda Dixon; and a brother, George Kanouff Jr. Mary is survived by her two daughters, Kimberly Lanager (Eric) and Tricia Rickabaugh (Jeffery); three sisters: Mona Hale, Elaine Kelly and Patricia LaBorde; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Services will be private. Arrangements are by Rose Hill Funeral & Cremation Care Inc., Altoona.

Catherine Marie Laich, 98, Altoona, passed away Monday at her home. She was born in East Freedom, daughter of the late Roy Charles and Jane Carlotta (Ott) Weyandt. On Nov. 18, 1949, she married Lynn Earl Laich in Winchester, Va. He preceded her in death on June 11, 2015.
