During an upcoming court hearing, one of Jerry Sandusky's accusers, known as "Victim 10," is expected to admit to providing false testimony about Sandusky's abuse.
A jury convicted Sandusky on June 22, 2012, of child sexual abuse and since that time Sandusky has filed several PCRA (Post-Conviction Relief Act) petitions that have been denied.
In September 2025, Sandusky filed another PCRA petition and while most points were denied, the court will hear testimony about newly discovered evidence pertaining to the recantation of Victim 10.
Sandusky's PCRA hearing is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Sept. 8 in Courtroom 1 of the Centre County Courthouse. In addition to Victim 10, the victim's estranged wife is set to testify, along with Frank Parlato, the Sandusky family investigator who secured the recantation; and Frank Fina, the trial prosecutor.
According to court documents, the testimony of the victim's estranged wife, Parlato and Fina will be limited in scope to the victim's recantation made in June 2025.
