When Penn State's roughly $700 million renovation project at West Shore Home Field at Beaver Stadium is completed for the 2027 season, fans will find renamed sections and higher prices.
On Tuesday, Penn State Athletics released an updated pricing plan and map for the 2027 season.
Penn State football season ticket prices for the 2027 season range from $550 in the north upper end zone to $8,379 and up for premium options like north loge boxes, alongside major Beaver Stadium seating layout overhauls and new numbered section formats, according to the email.
Seats on the renovated west side of the stadium will come with a high price.
For example, lower level seats on the 20 yard line on the east side are $1,140, while on the west side they are $2,375.
As part of the revitalization, fans will have a broader range of seating options beginning in 2027, including: traditional bench seating that continues to provide the classic Beaver Stadium experience; chairback seating in the lower-level west with enhanced amenities and improved concourses; two new premium club experiences -- the Schuyler Club and the Marzano Club -- featuring premium sideline seating and climate-controlled hospitality spaces; and additional seating options designed to provide greater flexibility, comfort and value for fans.
As part of Beaver Stadium's revitalization, Penn State is introducing a modern, simplified seating system designed to improve the game day experience.
Beaver Stadium is transitioning away from using directional sections indicators such as ED, EE, and EF; and rows consisting of a combination of letters and numbers; and finally, the use of odd and even seat numbering within the rows.
Beginning in 2027, the stadium will feature a new seating layout featuring numbered sections, numbered rows and sequential seat numbering within each row.
For example, 2026 seats in Section EF | Row D | Seats 2, 4, 6, 8 will become Section 131 | Row 4 | Seats 1, 2, 3, 4 in 2027.
For 2027, student sections will be 234-237 on the east side of the stadium and 135-149 in the south end zone. No student seats will be on the west side of the stadium.
Some fans will need to relocate to other seats as a result of the project. According to the email from Penn State, fans not affected will not need to take any action unless they want to add seats or relocate their current seats for the 2027 season. However, in the coming weeks, fans will have the option to review and choose new west side seats as part of the initial 2027 selection process, according to the email.
Fans can renew their season tickets by the 2027 renewal deadline and lock in their season ticket price for both the 2027 and 2028 seasons, giving them the opportunity to secure seats for the next two seasons while knowing the pricing is set through 2028.
Payment plans will expand to as long as 12 months, offering more flexibility and making it easier to spread payments over the course of the year.
For fans who want to enjoy the new premium areas of the stadium, four seating areas on the west side now require a one-time capital gift as part of the season ticket purchase. These areas include the Schuyler Club and the Marzano Club, both having a one-time gift of $10,000 for the account; the Lower Level Chairback seats at $2,500 per account; and last, the Mezzanine Level seats at $500 per account. This one-time contribution is payable over a three-year period and is tax deductible.
