A 40-year-old State College man was killed in a two-vehicle crash on I-99 in Antis Township shortly after midnight Tuesday.
According to state police and the Blair County Coroner's Office, Joshua Russell Brown was driving a 2020 Toyota Tundra pickup truck north in the left, southbound lane of I-99 near mile marker 42.6. The Toyota crashed head-on into a southbound tractor-trailer about 12:37 a.m.
Police said the driver of the tractor-trailer attempted to avoid the crash, but was unable to do so.
Brown was killed in the accident, the coroner's office reported.
State police are investigating the accident. The southbound lane of I-99 was closed for several hours from Grazierville (mile marker 45) to Bellwood (mile marker 41) for cleanup and the police investigation.
