The Logan Township supervisors Thursday authorized three change orders totaling $57,288 for the Strawberry Hills recreation site project.

Township Manager Tim Brown said the first change order is for the installation of soccer backstop netting behind each of the four goals. The cost is $26,592.

A second change order is for the installation of an eight-foot gate and fence next to the warm-up area, which Brown said is needed for the township's highway department to be able to get a lawnmower through. The cost is $6,696.

The final change order granted, totaling $24,000, is for the construction of a second pavilion at the site, according to Brown.

The township also approved a payment request of $262,557.92 to W.G. Land Co. -- the company constructing the complex -- for a period of work through July 3.
