Hail to Trails, a free public event celebrating the region’s growing outdoor recreation opportunities and the 50th anniversary of the Laurel Highlands Hiking Trail, will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, June 28, at Peoples Natural Gas Park, 90 Johns St., downtown Johnstown.

The event will showcase the area’s extensive trail network, outdoor recreation resources and organizations that help make Cambria County and the surrounding region a destination for outdoor adventure.

There will be free guided beginner and intermediate bicycle rides on the Jim Mayer Trail and the Honan Avenue Trail to Hinkston Run Falls, exhibits from outdoor recreation organizations and businesses and live entertainment.

Admission is free.
