Contour adds flights to Myrtle Beach for the summer
Area residents will be able to fly directly from the Altoona-Blair County Airport to the Myrtle Beach International Airport starting July 1. The new route will operate each Wednesday and Saturday through Aug. 22, making family vacations, weekend getaways and beach escapes more accessible.
Contour Airlines will operate the new service using its 30-seat regional jet, delivering a comfortable and reliable travel experience. Each nonstop flight offers extra legroom along with complimentary snacks and beverages.
Flights will leave the Altoona-Blair airport at 1:15 p.m .and arrive in Myrtle Beach at 3:05 p.m. The return flights will leave Myrtle Beach at 3:45 p.m., arriving back at the Altoona-Blair airport at 5:35 p.m.
