According to an Altoona Police Department press release, the assault involved multiple juveniles and resulted in the June 2 arrest of a 13-year-old boy. He was charged with criminal conspiracy, aggravated assault, false imprisonment, riot, simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct. A search warrant was executed on the teen’s primary residence where evidence related to the assault was seized, including multiple cellphones, police reported.

On June 3, an additional search warrant was served on the primary residence of a 13-year-old girl involved in the alleged assault. Her charges will be the same as the boy’s, police reported.
