Rhodes, of Hollidaysburg, won his 1931 Ford Model A coupe last year in a raffle through the Elk Run Volunteer Fire Company, Punxsutawney. Rhodes said he was thrilled with his $25 raffle-ticket win and spent some time reworking the wiring and getting the lights operating. He also added bicycle turn signals because “no one knows what hand signals mean any more.” Engle, of Duncansville, inherited his vehicle. The two shared ideas to help Engle get his vehicle up and running properly. The car show was part of the community day and America250 events hosted by the Adam Holliday Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution.
