The Jaffa Shrine Circus kicked off Wednesday evening as kids and adults alike laughed, cheered, gasped and giggled their way through the show. Held at the Jaffa Shrine Center, Altoona, the circus featured daring acrobatic feats, clown acts, jugglers, bareback riders performing tricks and more. Before and during intermission, a variety of stations offered face painting, camel rides and circus-themed souvenirs.
Shows continue at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. tonight, Friday, April 17; 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday, April 18; and 1 p.m. Sunday, April 19. Tickets range from $18 to $24.75 and can be purchased at jafashriners.org/circus, at the Jaffa Shrine box office or at the door before each show.
