Burn ban in effect for Duncansville Borough

Duncansville Borough placed a burning ban in effect for April 10 based on a National Weather Service Alert.

According to their Facebook post, all burning of any kind is prohibited in Duncansville Borough until further notice. This includes all outdoor burning, barn barrels, fire pits, chimneys.

“Also, be cautious about smoking outdoors,” the post states. “A flick of a cigarette can cause brush fires too! Make sure to put them out properly.”
