Hollidaysburg resident announces campaign for House seat

Thomas

Cody Thomas has announced his campaign for the U.S. House of Representatives in Pennsylvania’s 13th Congressional District, a seat currently held by U.S. Rep. John Joyce.

Thomas, running as an Independent, said his campaign is centered on restoring honest representation, weeding out political greed and bringing real transparency back to government.

He said those living in rural Pennsylvania are frustrated that they have been overlooked and taken for granted by career politicians and special interests. His campaign focuses on putting local voices first and ensuring that everyday Pennsylvanians are represented in Washington.

“I’m running for Congress to give this district its voice back,” Thomas said.

Thomas said his platform emphasizes practical, people-first leadership rooted in honesty, accountability and respect for working families.

Committed to standing up for rural communities, protecting local interests and making sure decisions in Washington are made in the open — not behind closed doors — are all part of his grassroots campaign, Thomas said.

Thomas is a Hollidaysburg resident and a graduate of Northern Bedford County High School.

Starting at $2.99/week.
