The Mirror will accept announcements through Friday, April 3, for candidates running for election in the May 19 primary.

Candidates submitting announcements should include a brief description of why they feel they are the best candidate for the position, political party, experience and a photograph.

Candidates should also include contact information, including a full mailing address, phone number and email address. This information will not be published.

The Mirror will accept candidate announcements for positions within the Mirror’s coverage area, including Blair, Bedford, Cambria, Centre, Clearfield and Huntingdon counties.

Only one announcement per candidate will be accepted during an election cycle.

Candidate announcements should be emailed to news@altoonamirror.com or submit the information via the Mirror’s virtual newsroom at vnr.altoonamirror.com.

Announcements will not be printed in the Saturday-Sunday edition of the Mirror.
