Saxton juvenile accused of child sexual assault charged as adult
Johnson, 15, allegedly assaulted girl, 9
A Saxton teen is being charged as an adult after allegedly assaulting a 9-year-old girl.
Camdyn Alan Johnson, 15, was arraigned Wednesday before Magisterial District Judge Brian K. Baker on felony charges related to the indecent assault of the girl last year.
The Bedford County District Attorney’s Office decided to charge Johnson as an adult after reviewing the investigative materials, affidavit of probable cause and applicable statutory criteria, according to a statement from the DA’s office.
Johnson was an “adjudicated delinquent for aggravated indecent assault” in January 2024, according to a notation on the affidavit of probable cause. An “adjudicated delinquent” is a juvenile found by a judge to have committed a delinquent act — a violation of criminal law — in juvenile court.
According to the charging documents, Johnson is accused of assaulting the victim beginning in summer 2024.
During an interview with the Child Advocacy Center, the victim said Johnson told her he learned a new trick on TikTok that he wanted to try on her. At that time, he put his fingers under her shorts and rubbed her private areas. The victim said Johnson touched her on four occasions and during each he would touch her “cookie” underneath her shorts and underwear.
The victim said he would also touch her bottom on top of her clothing and that she felt unsafe around other boys.
On the last occasion, in December 2025, the victim wrote herself a note on her phone to remember the date, the report states. At that time, Johnson was 15 years old, according to the complaint.
Johnson faces four felony counts of aggravated indecent assault of a child and four felony counts of indecent assault of a person less than 13 years of age.
He was remanded to the Bedford County Correctional Facility on 10% of $200,000 bail. A professional bondsman posted $200,000 in surety bonds Thursday, according to online court documents.
Johnson’s preliminary hearing is set for March 4 in Bedford County Central Court.
