Pennsylvania judges get 3.3% salary hike
State justices given inflationary increase
The salary in 2026 for Supreme Court Chief Justice Debra Todd, the top judicial post in Pennsylvania, is $278,496, according to a recent notice in the Pennsylvania Bulletin.

The Administrative Office of Pennsylvania Courts based the salary amounts on the increase in the Consumer Price Index in four Mid-Atlantic states, according to the U.S. Department of Labor, Bureau of Statistics. The increase reflects a 12-month period ending last Aug. 31 rather than last Oct. 31 as usual.
This reflects missing monthly data tied to a six-week shutdown of the federal government due to a budget stalemate in October and early November.
