The Altoona Mirror will not publish on New Year’s Day.

Our New Year’s Eve newspaper will contain both Wednesday’s and Thursday’s comic and puzzle pages.

The Mirror offices will close at 3 p.m. New Year’s Eve, Wednesday, Dec. 31, and reopen at 8 a.m. Friday, Jan. 2.

The obituary desk will be closed Wednesday and reopen at 1:30 p.m. New Year’s Day.
