Library raffle features dinosaur tour
The Cambria County Library’s fundraising raffle features a rare prize. One winner and their guests will join world-renowned paleontologist Dr. Matthew Lamanna of the Carnegie Museum of Natural History for a private tour of the museum’s Hall of Dinosaurs and Big Bone Room.
The prize consists of a two-hour tour for up to six guests. Two guests must be adults age 18 and over, and all guests must be age 10 or over. The prize is redeemable through 2026. Full details on scheduling will be provided to the winning ticket holder.
Only 250 chances will be sold.
Tickets are $20 each and are available at the library, 248 Main St., Johnstown. Visit the circulation desk on the third floor or the children’s service desk on the second floor.
Tickets are also available online at www.cclsys.org/ccl/dinosaurs. A $1 convenience fee will be applied to online ticket purchases by credit card.
This exclusive experience ticket package is made possible by a generous, anonymous donor, and 100% of the ticket proceeds will support library operations. The drawing will take place on Friday, Dec. 19.
