Lights on the Lake at Lakemont Park set to open Friday

Annual drive-thru experience runs through Jan. 4

Holiday Lights on the Lake at Lakemont Park opens Friday, Nov. 14, for its 29th season. The drive-thru experience will be open from 6 to 10 p.m. through Jan. 4.

There are more than 190 illuminated displays, including classic favorites such as the Avenue of Trees and the Tunnel of Lights.

Admission is $18 per vehicle. Unlimited visit passes are $75, while supplies last, and can be purchased at the Lakemont Park office or at the entrance gate

Snacks from Nuts For You will be available. In addition, Santa’s Village and the Snack Shack will feature Bedford Candies, Gardners and several local bakers, along with churros, hot pretzels and more. Guests young and old can visit with Santa Claus and have photos taken nightly from Nov. 14 through Dec. 23.

The Gift Shop includes holiday items and the Alto Model Train Museum Association’s exhibit. Santa’s Village is located in the front plaza, and admission is free.

The Holiday Festival Kickoff will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, where there will be more than two dozen vendors, refreshments and a special visit from Santa.
