A barn fire Saturday morning destroyed multiple round bales of hay and damaged farm equipment. Flames were visible in the three-sided building when firefighters from the Imler Volunteer Fire Department arrived at the beef farm along the 10000 block of William Penn Highway, Imler. Neighboring fire companies — including Alum Bank, Bedford, Southern Cove and Friendship — responded to provide water and manpower.
