Motorists should expect daytime delays this week and next as the intersection improvement project at Route 36 (Woodbury Pike) and Route 164 (Cove Lane) continues in Roaring Spring Borough and Taylor Township, Blair County.
Crews will work during daylight hours from 5 a.m. to 3 p.m. for two weeks to form and pour a curb gutter and a concrete slab for the island at Cove Lane. The intersection improvement project consists of shoulder widening and the addition of turning lanes, as well as utility relocation and drainage upgrades.
Cottle's Asphalt Maintenance Inc. of Everett expects this work will be completed by Friday, July 18.
