An Everett man is behind bars after he allegedly broke into his ex-girlfriend's house and "ransacked" the residence.
Brady Alan Corle, 22, was arraigned July 19 by Magisterial District Judge Kevin R. Diehl on two felony counts of burglary and a single misdemeanor count of simple assault. He was remanded to the Bedford County Correctional Facility after being unable to post $150,000 bail.
State police were dispatched to a residence along the 400 block of Sunny Side Road in Bedford Township about 1:30 p.m. July 19 for a report of a burglary. The victim told officers she answered the door and saw Corle, her ex-boyfriend, there. Corle then pushed the victim aside and entered the residence, according to the affidavit of probable cause.
The victim also told officers about an incident that occurred between about midnight and 4 a.m. She said Corle told her that he had removed the residence's window air conditioning unit, entered the residence, ransacked the house, replaced the window unit and secured the door before leaving, the report stated.
Officers took Corle into custody without incident at his home along the 1300 block of East Graceville Road in East Providence Township. During an interview, he allegedly admitted to the burglaries, the report stated.
Corle is scheduled for a preliminary hearing Wednesday in front of Diehl.
