Wible

Blair County native and current Blair Township auditor Jacob Wible recently announced his candidacy for Blair Township supervisor.

A 2015 graduate of Altoona Area High School, Jacob grew up and lived in Altoona before pursuing and earning his bachelor of science in biology from Shippensburg University, where he graduated in 2019.

Upon returning to Blair County in 2022, Wible founded Ace Peak Capital Holdings Inc., a small business that purchased properties in Altoona and invested in the community by repairing the housing stock and providing affordable housing.

He also works as a project engineer for Arrow Electric, where he oversees the design, construction and completion of multimillion dollar projects.

Wible currently serves as the co-chairman for the Blair/Cambria Young Republicans. He belongs to the Blair County Republican Committee and Gun Owners of America, as he is a strong supporter of the Second Amendment.

Wible currently serves as one of two elected auditors for Blair Township and the chairman of the board of auditors. If elected as supervisor, he will oppose any tax increases, fight for individual property rights and look for ways to expand upon personal property freedoms and commit to ensuring entrepreneurs have freedom to engage in business.
