A Patton Man, Joseph Robert Rematt, 33, was taken into custody Tuesday afternoon after a standoff with state police, who were at his Patton Borough residence to serve a warrant for his arrest. Cambria County District Attorney Greg Neugebauer said the warrant stemmed from a domestic incident that occurred on Saturday. In that case, Rematt is facing a felony charge of kidnapping, along with misdemeanor charges of unlawful restraint, false imprisonment, terroristic threat charges and simple assault, among others.
Charges against Rematt for the standoff are pending.
