A Duncansville man is behind bars unable to post $200,000 bail after a traffic stop and subsequent search turned up drugs, guns and cash.

Robert Symere Williams, 31, was taken into custody Thursday morning on an outstanding felony arrest warrant, Altoona police reported.

According to court documents, Williams had been under investigation by police, who, with a confidential informant, conducted two controlled buys for heroin/fentanyl on Williams.

On Thursday, police used K-9 Blue, who alerted on Williams’ vehicle, which was then impounded.

Police compiled a search warrant for Williams’ Duncansville home and found two Glock magazines attached to a drawer under a living room table; a box of empty wax packets; multi-colored rubber bands; smartphone; small bag containing nine individually packaged suboxone strips; four wax packets stamped “Chucky”; a Google phone; a box full of stacks of money totaling $2,750; empty blue was packets and a bag of raw heroin; KAHR .45 caliber handgun, magazine and founds of ammunition; Springfield XD 9 with a weapon light, magazine and ammunition; a Glock 10 mm with a weapon light, magazine and ammunition; a .22 Mossberg sub-pistol with a drum magazine, without ammunition; a Smith and Wesson M&P AR-style pistol, 22 caliber; an American guncraft 12 gauge black powder pistol; an Anderson AR-15 chambered with magazine and ammunition; a Winchester Wildcat .22LR without a serial number; a Glock 43X with an extended magazine and ammunition; a Derya Arms 12 gauge shotgun; an XD magazine with ammunition; three 10mm pistol magazines with ammunition; two Glock 43X magazines with rounds; a Smith and Wesson magazine without rounds; 12 rounds of miscellaneous ammunition; and a bag of unused blue wax packets, some pre-stamped “Chucky,” a stamp, bags, gloves, masks and rubber bands; box of suspected fentanyl.

Police reported that the 5 grams of pure heroin/fentanyl had a street value of $2,500; the 91 packets of heroin/fentanyl had a value of $910; and the suboxone strips were valued at $90.

In Williams’ vehicle, police found $2,775, a bank envelope containing $600 and a cellphone.

Williams was arraigned Thursday night before Magisterial District Judge Andrew L. Blattenberger on felony charges of dealing in unlawful activities, possession of a firearm prohibited, possession of a firearm with altered number, three felony counts of possession with intent to deliver along with misdemeanor charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police said a criminal history check on Williams shows he is prohibited from possession firearms due to a guilty plea to robbery in 2018.

Williams is facing charges in several outstanding cases. Those charges include retail theft, felony gun and drug charges, along with misdemeanor counts of simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and terroristic threats.
