An Altoona man was taken into custody Wednesday morning after allegedly doxxing two individuals on Facebook and encouraging his thousands of followers to rob them.

Randolph Delozier, 62, was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Paula M. Aigner on single felony counts of burglary, robbery and theft, as well as two misdemeanor counts each of recklessly endangering another person and harassment. Unable to post 10% of $75,000 bail, Delozier was remanded to the Blair County Prison.

The charges against Delozier stem from two individuals contacting Altoona police on Wednesday to report that he had set them up to be robbed, according to the affidavit of probable cause.

The police report states Delozier made a Facebook post on his Bedford County Free Press page, called BCFP Reality News, which has about 33,000 followers. In the post, Delozier tagged the victim’s personal Facebook page and wrote that the victim was “not very smart … he will not put his money in a safety deposit box” and said the victim carried about $20,000 on his person.

Delozier told his followers “with all the crime going on, someone would love $20,000,” and “let’s play a game … who wants it bad enough?” Delozier then listed the victim’s full address, along with a recent photo of his residence. He continued the post by stating the victim was a drug dealer and his roommate a prostitute, insinuating their money was procured illegally, so a home invasion might not be investigated by police, court documents state.

The victim told officers he and his roommate were afraid someone would act on the information, given the number of followers Delozier had and that the media page is public, the report stated.

Officers responded to Delozier’s residence along the 200 block of South Second Street and took him into custody without incident. They noted Delozier made a statement during his arrest about officers being there for something to do with the two individuals, after first feigning ignorance regarding their presence, according to the affidavit.

Delozier provided officers with the passcode for his cellphone and it was seized in expectation of a search warrant. A preservation request for the BCFP Reality News page was placed with Facebook, along with a request for the offending post to be removed. A search warrant for the Facebook account will also be obtained, the report states.

Delozier is scheduled for a preliminary hearing in front of Magisterial District Judge Daniel C. DeAntonio on Feb. 19.
