-- Twenty-eighth Street Church of the Brethren, 28th and Union Avenue, Altoona, will host a Christmas eve candlelight service at 7 p.m. The service will include pew communion, with bread and cup.
-- St. Lawrence of Brindisi Old Roman Catholic Church, 1985 St. Lawrence Road, Patton, will hold a midnight Mass on Christmas eve. Christmas hymns will begin at 11:30 p.m., followed by midnight Mass in English. A reception will be held in the parish all at 1 a.m. Christmas Day, Dec. 25. A 10 a.m. traditional Mass, in English, will be held Christmas Day.

-- Faith Baptist Church of Altoona, 315 40th St., will hold a candlelight Christmas eve service at 6 p.m. Nursery is provided for children under age 2.

-- Jaggard First United Methodist Church, 1801 Pleasant Valley Blvd., Altoona, will host a Christmas eve service at 5 p.m. Holy Communion and candlelight service to conclude worship.
-- Fairview United Methodist Church, 2214 Fifth St., Altoona, will hold a Christmas eve service at 3 p.m. with Holy Communion and a candlelight service.
-- Mardorf United Methodist Church, 3429 Juniata Gap road, Altoona, will host a 5 p.m. Christmas Eve service.
-- Juniata United Methodist Church, 808 N. Fourth St., Altoona, will hold two Christmas eve candlelight services. The first at 6 p.m. is a family service, followed by an 8 p.m. traditional service.
-- Hollidaysburg First United Methodist Church, 801 Allegheny St., Hollidaysburg, will hold three Christmas Eve services. The 5 p.m. service will be a traditional service, while the 7 p.m. service is contemporary family. The 9 p.m. service will be traditional. Candlelighting and "Silent Night" will close out the services.
