Democratic women to meet
Blair County Federation of Democratic Women will hold their annual spring tea at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 14, at the AFSCME building, 161 Patchway Road, Duncansville. Candidates and other guests will speak about their campaigns and local issues. All Democratic women are invited to attend.
The monthly meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 16, at Perkins Restaurant, Altoona.

'How to Dance in Ohio' to be shown
In honor of Autism Acceptance Month, Juniata College's Office of Student Accessibility Services will host a screening of "How to Dance in Ohio" at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 4, in the living room area of Statton Learning Commons.
This event is free and open to the public.
"How to Dance in Ohio" is a 2015 documentary film that follows a group of young adults with autism living in Columbus, Ohio, as they prepare for their first spring formal. Their guidance counselor, Emilio Amigo, supports them as they practice social skills in preparation for the dance.
