Madalyn Heckman-Gonzalez has joined the transportation team at Keller Engineers Inc.
Heckman-Gonzalez is a certified Engineer-in-Training and has a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering with a minor in environmental engineering from Messiah University. Her previous work experience is extensive, with a strong background in project, highway, environmental and municipal engineering.
Awards and honors
Amy Frye has been named by Conemaugh Nason Medical Center as the winner of the DAISY Award for extraordinary nurses.
Frye is a registered nurse in the Nason Wound Clinic and is the first nurse to receive the recognition since its inception at Conemaugh Nason.
Frye has been an integral part of the clinic for more than 18 months, beginning her career at Conemaugh Nason Medical Center in May 2022.
Della Watters of Everett, a certified professional photographer, will be acknowledged later this month by the Professional Photographers of America during the 2024 Award & Degree Ceremony at the national photographic convention, Imaging USA.
Watters has successfully earned four master degrees through her training with PPA, and is only the fourth person in PPA history to earn all four degrees currently offered -- a very rare and difficult accomplishment.
Certifications
Robert F. Pennington, broker/owner of Coldwell Banker Town & Country Real Estate in Altoona, earned the Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist designation from The Institute for Luxury Home Marketing.
Real estate professionals who earn this designation must complete rigorous training and demonstrate a proven track record of selling upper-tier properties. Pennington is entering his 51st year selling real estate in Blair County.
