Ebensburg native Alexis Tomacruz has been found in Paris, France, according to a post by her friends on Reddit.
Few details have been released about the 30-year-old's disappearance Friday night. A missing persons report was made in Paris after family and friends didn't hear from her after 11 p.m. that night. It appeared that her phone was turned off and she did not use social media, according to information provided by friends on Facebook and related posts.
Tomacruz, who currently lives in New York City, has been in Paris since the end of December and had plans to stay through the end of January.
According to the Reddit post, Tomacruz "has been found and is safe. Thank you for all of the love, support and assistance generated by this community."
The post also asks that people respect the family's privacy at this time. It was reported that Tomacruz had been found in a Paris hospital, though details were limited.
